Dear nneba,
The best way is to prepare your text before to click on the 'post reply' button.
- Under Windows open the Notepad text editor. The user manual is here:
http://www.smartlabsoftware.com/howto/n ... torial.htm
- Under Linux (Fedora, Ubuntu, etc) in a new console, open gedit (or kedit, nino, etc)
The principle is always the same:
- enter your text
- make all corrections and save every five minutes
- select in blue the entered text with the mouse
- click on 'copy'
Then return back to the besslerwheel.com forum page where you want to reply
- click on the 'post reply' button
- position the prompt at the upper left corner of the text area
- click on 'paste' (right button of the mouse)
Don't forget to put the additional HTML ankers (can be also prepared in the original editor text):
- in front of any web link click on the 'url' icon, after the same link click on the 'url*' icon
(the final format must be: open bracketurlclosed brackethttp://www.besslerwheel.comopen bracket/urlclosed bracket)
- the same method for italic, etc.
By the same way, you can select in blue with the mouse a specific area from another post, make a copy and paste this area inside the prepared text.
Remember the particular format of the 'quote' anker. Here is an example:
open bracketquote="name of the previous poster"closed bracketthe reference textopen bracket/quoteclosed bracket
gives:
name of the previous poster wrote:the reference text
All of this is trivial, but can be useful for many members/guests of this forum
