For Your Entertainment

Post by to.late »

For Your Entertainment, there was an idea someone in another forum suggested a couple of years ago.
A respected and credible person from this forum debunked the idea the same week.
Tonight, I had a funny thought, one for your amusement and entertainment. This well respected and credible person could have debunked Bessler's basic premise. This is to say, the basic way in which a Bessler wheel worked.
Some of the things I have thought about tonight are, what if pulley's were used in this concept ? As long as we are using pulley's, why not tubes ? Bessler said he used those also.
And to keep with the Bessler theme of what he used or did, what if one weight replaced another ? With this design, that is possible. But did Bessler do that ?
Still, I remind myself that a credible and respected person from this forum who is a part of a private build group debunked it in a matter of days.
This is not to say it will or would work, but that to consider some of Bessler's claims about his design, much was omitted in debunking it.

This is the design that someone suggested.
Where I have used a long warped board, they used a short straight board.
By doing so, one weight can replace another.
The orange line running through the middle of the scissors wouyld be a rope line. This would allow for the pulleys being hoists. This would mean the weight at the end of the warped board would weigh less than the one at the end of the scissors.
The scissors would be to support the main weight and keept it in it's radial position, ie., it does not advance or retard in it's motion. It only moves inward toward the axle or outward towards it's over balanced position.
His usage of tubes suggests that the rope lines for the hoists may have, at one point been placed to another rope line. The tubes would act as guides preventing them from rubbing against each other and wearing out.
With the attached drawing, the weight on the left would have already droppewd having lifted the weight at the bottom in a clock wise rotationh.
ZThis idea also parallels Mt 25.

edted to add; if you are on of the people who have ridculed me for my ideas, I would suggest that if ths is it, to consider one thng, it does not make up for what I have been put through.
The other idea I worked on was in part because someone was putting much effort nto disprovng this one.
And yes, I have left out detaiils. It does take time to understand how this could work. But n forums such as these, people wish to st in judgement.
I have not worked on this to prove something to people such as yourselves. After all, you are not my friends.

It's rarely very entertaining listening to someone's idea about a gripe.
