Has anyone discovered any humor in Bessler's clues?
. I can assure the reader that there is something special behind the stork's bills.

I thought this was hilarious when I first read it :

"Oh - be gone!, you evil hornets, you prattlers swollen with poison,
you envious wretches who have so vilely debased me! Only your
lap-dogs will be enticed by your poisonous crumbs - you will
never get me ensnared in the traps that you have laid for me. For
if I were foolish enough to fall into your trap, I could never win,
and would only have myself to blame for my stupidity. If, after
taking my machine to pieces in your presence, and then reassembling
it and letting it run for 660 hours, all the while sitting
by it like a guard dog, all you could say, almost destroying me and
my house with your fiery bile, would be:-

"He's got a FOUR WEEK Mobile!"

Do not be so hard on yourself Rood...I most certainly think you stupid.
You fall into your own traps, as no one here has layed snare for you.

it will indeed be possible to look for a movement and, finally to find one in them. "

wow... you take offense at someone quoting Bessler and take the thread totally out of context to try and insult me . that is funny . you take offense even when none is intended just to what ? pick a fight ? you are very easy to see through there smart guy . if I were to study any of you as hard as I have studied Bessler I could not justify the time that I wasted in the end because there is simply no comparison between brilliance and darkness .
If I am right and you are wrong ,what then ? I don't think an apology is gonna cut it because when you ask yourselves why you said what you said the truth is just simply that you don't know any better .

That is the point Rood... If you see this in me, why can you not see this in yourself?

Oh i can see it in myself ... and also I can see a distinction between winners and losers . Your whole rationale is based on the assumption that I am unprovoked . think again . your friendly group think makes me wanna puke .
shake it up my boy and let the chips fall where they may . any harm done will certainly only be an abrasion of some egos, and if a wheel emerges out of the dust ... all the better .

I have not discovered any humor in his clues but I can just picture Bessler laughing at his cleverness in constructing his words carefully.

On reading Besslers introduction to the Machinen Tractates, and in particular the Last line of that introduction...Does Mt 111 bring a smile? I find clever and humor here.

This is a fair observation and, I need only remind you, that The world honors its own. What of people like you and I though? Are we to lazy to build a wheel? Perhaps our lack of academic achievement would merit no help from those who struggled and put forth the tremendous effort and cost of their education?

I think ( and believe) That Ralph (rlortie) "Arrache" really would work with you? ( I sense a real humility in this man) I seem to recall that Tarsier was interested in your design??

I know only this for both an empirical and absolute fact...Greed does not respect education nor station of life, and that forgiveness is the greatest power in the universe.
