Impetus "key"...

Post by iacob alex »

.....or more precisely a certain velocity, opens the flight's "gate" : the take-off speed, when the aircraft may safely become airborne.

If we understand that the "lifting" velocity is a prime -working prerequisite for flight, why not to think alike ( free-fall/downward velocity ) about a possible gravity self-moving device?!

G.B.Shaw said that:"no question is so difficult to answer,as that to which the answer is obvious".

Good thought. The comeback is that the 1st Law of Thermodynamics precludes it (energy cannot be created). The First Law is a perfectly good law..........for Thermodynamics (heat transfer) but should never have been applied to what we are striving for----the assumption that gravity has/is energy and can be tapped, even in a closed system.

But, for now, the Law is the law until proven otherwise.

So quit reading this and get to work!!
Love it quick. You ain't gonna have it long.

.....reffers to the velocity of free fall/downward moving (v=g*t) and more precisely to the possibility to use it in relation with the time factor (free fall time).

If we begin with a small unbalance (a small torque difference) ,and can achieve a full 360* rotation(collecting a large quantity of rotational inertia...so,an energy storage), we have "the first step"...

.....is a suggestion to "unlock" our thinking manner about a possible gravity powered device:
- v=g*t linear dependence of gravity fall

-Ek=1/2m*v*v nonlinear dependence of kinetic energy due to free fall

.....is "located",in my opinion "inside" the velocity of gravity fall (v=g*t).

Here,we have a new "inside",with the time factor (the only one variable...that we can play).

For a free gravity fall we have : v=g*t

For a counterweighted gravity fall (see an Atwood Machine "type" )...and so,for a possible gravity powered device,we have an acceleration a<<g ,also.

So,if we have a smaller acceleration,we need this for a longer time of every period of motion.

Impetus "key" appears to be,simply..."the time"...but taking into consideration the characteristic of the gravity fall/solid state "flow".

The peculiar relation between variable (increasing) velocity in a gravity fall and kinetic energy ( Ek~ v*v ) becomes an interesting and maybe an useful nonlinear "puzzle" game.

.....can be compared with an ignition key for an engine: a mechanical device for making or breaking electric circuit.

Impetus,or momentum is quantity of motion of a moving body(product of its mass and its velocity).

If we use the impetus of a falling body, due to gravity,we can take advantage of velocity (v=g*t...but in a counterweighted arrangement we have a<<g),or more precisely of free falling time.

So,if you intend to "ignite" gravity for your PM arrangement, play time factor...
