The FL DP's argument they used (the hearing was held before a Democrat judge) to keep Nader off the ballot was "He can't be allowed on the ballot because he will take votes away from our candidate."
Well, duh! Using that line of reasoning, they could have barred Bush from the ballot too....

Thanks Epi, but everyone understood the joke the first time around.

After viewing the various Bush, 911, Iraq Invasion, etc; documentaries making the rounds at the moment I tend to think that the US has bigger, more fundimental problems than who will win the next personality contest.

Federal election time in Australia is just around the corner too. IMO, we have such a poor choice of leaders presently put up for public auction. Who do we pick, Laurel or Hardy?

Maybe the way our foreign policy has gone of late we should be voting for Bush or Kerry too. What a joke.

This is my opinion...

The US economy / stock market / dollar value are all being controlled and manipulated by an out of control US government. After the election this whole house of cards WILL come tumbling down as the manipulators loose control. It will make no difference Bush or Kerry. All it would take is another terrorist attack in the US. The value of the US dollar will plummet causing a large rise in prices of all imports, especially oil. Which will fuel inflation. Which will open a whole BIG can of worms. More lost jobs. More forclosures. The current bad US economy (which the manipulators are trying desperatly to hide) will turn even worse, effecting the whole world. The prices of real goods (oil, lumber, metals, gold, silver, etc.) in the US will skyrocket as is starting to happen already. I recommend keeping some real money (gold or silver coins) as a backup just in case things get really hairy.

As I said it will make no difference Bush or Kerry. Who ever gets elected will be blamed. Neither can stop it as it is too late, the ball is already rolling.

Again this is only my opinion. I could be wrong. I've been wrong before.

i believe you've got it right Jim , we should have a government that is truly for the people and by the people....... here's a idea........ fire the president , the v.p. the congress and the house or representatives along with all the pencil pushers in the state and local goverment/agencies that feed off our economy , give them all jobs at Mcdonalds....that should balance the budget in a year or two...
and a computer could do exactly what we are paying them to do , but don't . and skip the pork barrell spending and we could have a vote ................(by computer or phone ) once a day or once a week ,we would all have a say in what is going on and i think that is what the founding fathers had in mind from the beginning..........

" A GOVERNMENT FOR THE PEOPLE BY THE PEOPLE "

what a concept...........None Of The Above...........!!!

I Pity them both. Damage has been done for the next 10 generations if not more to the entire world.
How blind and stupid can a Government be?

How fortunate are the people who do not live in America! "God bless them"
