The Voynich Manuscript is very interesting. Its parchment has been carbon dated to somewhere between 1404 and 1438 AD. Its only city picture has swallow tail turrets, which during that time period were only in northern Italy. The time needed to make the manuscript would have taken a number of years. The parchment and ink were very high quality, indicating that the author was wealthy. In the 1430's, northern Italy was a wealthy area. The pictures seem to indicate a study of herbs, plants, bathing, astrology, and other means of healing.

It takes some concentration to try to read this "book."
