"Arsenal of Democracy" Detroit was nicknamed during World War Two, when it switched production to planes, tanks and munitions from its automotive roots. Once synonymous with U.S. manufacturing prowess it seems ready to tap out in defeat.

I was shocked to learn 40% of Detroit’s street lights don’t work. The average police response time is 58 minutes. If that is the average I can just imagine response time in certain areas. 19 billion dollars in debt they are ready to rip off pensions and workers as a result of incompetence to manage government.

The U.S. gave Pakistan about $20 billion since 9/11. ‪Detroit‬ is in debt about 20 billion.

Maybe so Jim, but they better not take tax money from any state that runs their houses in order to bail out these cities. What would be next, bail out California? Big Government is always a problem. As a country we are what... 17 trillion in debt? Yet these bozos keep hiring federal workers and giving billions to companies that are doomed to fail. I think everyone of us could assemble a group of common sense men and wowen to run this country better than these clowns!
