re: Welcome!
I haven't been looking at the discussion board all that often lately and was surprised to see something different, but I'm glad I looked as it's just getting started. Are the login & registration required?

Thanks, I'm glad you like the site. No, you don't need to register to vote, only to start new polls (but only one vote is allowed per IP address).

re: Welcome!
Hi guys, I opened a private chat room at Paltalk.com.....the room is called bessler's wheel , the password is..............motion....
it's free , it's an open mic forum where everyone can talk to each other about (PM). Hope to hear from some of you all you need is a mic, and a speaker.
I open it at about 8 p.m. san diego time (pacific time)
if anyone else wants to be an administrator of it, it can be open 24 /7................
the requirement would be just the administrator password and a logged on computer to keep the room open.
the bessler wheel chat room is listed under miscellaneous. thanks

Hey All,
Just a quick note to let everyone know I just finished adding a new feature to the board: picture album and slideshow.
Now when you click on a picture attachment, it opens a new browser window where you can view the full sized image, but now you also have the option to view picture albums by username or by month, or view a slideshow of pictures in the order they were uploaded.
There still may be a few kinks to work out but overall it seems to be working well.
Also I added a link to the picture album page in the common header called "Albums."
Enjoy!

re: Welcome!
Scott,
Found your new feature by surprise, after realizing how to use it, I had a ball playing "Remember this One".
Great job and speaking for myself, it's going to get utilized.
Thank you!

This new file system really makes the forum a powerful tool.
Thanks for your continued attention to detail and needs.

re: Welcome!
Thanks everyone, I'm really glad you all like it. It has been on my todo list for a LONG time.
And now that we have almost 2300 pictures, it was quickly approaching an organizational crisis situation.
The main problem left now is the lack of pagination for the albums. E.g. Ken Behrendt's album has over 400 pictures in it which currently displays on just one page. That is far too many images for most people to be able to download in any reasonable amount of time. Plus it's putting a terrible strain on my server, which is just an ordinary computer under the desk here in my home office. (The machine is actually getting quite old now, going on 6 years. The next big item on my todo list is to upgrade the machine itself. Whew, talk about a big job... The site will probably be down for quite a while when that time comes.)
I am currently working on adding the ability to paginate the albums, but am not sure if or when I will be able to accomplish it.
In the meantime, enjoy using the new features, but be aware that large albums might take a very long time to download, and will require much patience for now if you want to view them.
Best,
Scott
