Prognosticators are stepping up to the plate declaring what is going to be so I might as well take a turn at it.

This market's about to do a lewinski. You can see the channel of lower lows and lower highs that precipitated the profit taking/correction of Aug 24 of last year. It's happening again.

Call it what you want (profit taking/correction) but what I call it is smart money leaving the market. USofA debt is thru the stratosphere.

It's long past time to make a provision for yourselves and the ones you love; but I don't think it's too late even now. Commodity prices are in the dirt and oil is leading the charge. Brent sea crude is finished on an uptick this week @ $37.70 yet the Saudi's need to see it over $100 so they don't have to run a deficit. For the first time ever they are running one.

Things are tough all over. We're going to have to let the upstairs maid go. We'll manage. We can make our own beds and put our own mints on our pillows. For God's sake we still have our dignity.

Sam Wyly wrote a book, an interesting book, 1000 Dollars and an Idea. He bought Ponderosa Steak House and Bonanza Steakhouse. When he bought into them he had a lot of capital. He keep a lot of it in the market. The way he used to trade the market is to look at his books (his restaurants). When Joe Sixpack wasn't coming to give him business, he considered that to be a leading indicator of the markets; and he would come to cash.

Then when Joe came back, he'd get back in the market.

These are very different days. I look @ amzn trading @ 980.46 times earnings. Since you don't follow the market I'll explain it as I see it. Suppose someone would give you amzn and float that loan for you. Further, they would give you all the profit and pay all the expense. Even further, they wouldn't charge you interest. Now if all things would remain the same, it would only take you 980 years to pay them back!

Now look at another one. aapl. It's market capitalization is 586.86B and it's trading @ a price to earnings ratio of 11.45. Under normal circumstances and all things being equal, which deal would you take?

Give me apples any day. But I don't know if these are normal days. I really don't know. There's no shame in saying you don't know.

Some times I try and slip out and saddle my iron horse and just take a ride. My princess catches me ever time and she asks me, "where you goin' ". And I say, darling, I'm just going for a ride. And she asks me, "can you bring me back some ice creame?" And I say, "heck, I don't know".

This little one of faith just looks at me and says, "Thank you."

Well, I don't know. What I do is jump on and off. That's how I do it.

I do think this market is heading up. I'm long this market. Now I'm a bank and I have loans. I'm calling those loans in. I want my money in this market.

Do you think its going to break upwards ?

I'm betting on it and I want to bet even more.

Further, I think that if Mr Trump is elected this market will explode.

I'll end with this (and it's not even pertinent yet it is very funny).

I have a customer who is an educator. She teaches precocious kids. Recently she had a hip replaced then she broke a leg. Holy cow.

She said, "other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, how did you enjoy the play?"

Earlier this evening, a very high ranking federal official told me that gold was a good bet by reason of the deficit and impending inflation.

This is exactly what the feds have been trying to cause. Inflation. However, they've been coming up empty. I have no idea why they can't make this happen.

I think smart money is fleeing gold, also I see crude moving up and I see wall street moving up.

DOW 20K. That's what I see.
