flywheel and oscilating weight

Post by mblx »

something from my father workshop (old) inspired me for this working model simulation, instead of "foot driven" is pendulum activated.
even using a bit exagerated air resistance, looks like wm simulation show flywheel accelerated.
may be locking/release mechanism can synchronize pendulum movement with flywheel.
if some one with more computer knowledge can make a simulation more accessible...

in real life I think that is a bit of mechanical work to keep a 300kg /1.5m flywheel to run, even if on all directions. (with a 60 kg initial lift . Nothing is absolutely free ... ") )
initially, is a random movement cw/ccw, at some point can be observed a synchronization flywheel/pendulum and movement in one direction only for a while.
I've kept watching the simulations for more than 5 min (average youtube free energy video scam... ) but still running. Maybe I've forgot to add extra friction somewhere in simulation prog?

meantime, only screen shots during the "flight of the wheel"

Hello mblx,

Welcome to the fray.

I don't have wm2d myself, but I believe in the following thread there is some information on exporting videos of simulations from it:

http://www.besslerwheel.com/forum/viewt ... wm2d+video

I hope this helps.

thanks Dwayne,
think that drawings and screen shots give a picture of what I am saying but is more fun to look at movements...

going a bit further, increase diameter of flywheel to 3 m -close to one of Bessler wheel - (as attached) will cover the mechanism.
in this case , central piece-pendulum- from MT 13 can be inserted as compensating weight and reference point for moving pendulum here.
theory looks simple ... but ...

as per simulation, is working also with flywheel weight 1kg and pendulum weight 5 kg, basically can be very lightweight , probably less output( not checked) but again, only simulation

here comes more interesting.. double pendulum, same concept as with single pendulum. screen shot for settings and video capture for start up (frame 0) and frame 2000(after already set up on speed).
So, at least on simulation, is working. Maybe to simple for it to work... and so simple that a carpenter can understand....
This simulation file is a bit too big to be posted( 10 M at least) but I can sent it to anyone who want it to try.

30 min build 3D replica of second version, cardboard paper .
simulations and screen shots show overlapping of levers, that is not the case for 3d
