Jim Mich...

Post by TGM »

...is dead. RIP.

I saw a thread about him jumping the shark. I thought that meant died, but I found out it meant something else, derogatory.

But before I knew what that meant, I investigated and...

James R. Randall, of Stockbridge Twp., Michigan, age 69, passed away on Wednesday, December 21, 2016.

RIP Jim.

I didn't agree with a lot he said, but I did like him. I think BW will be worse off in his absence.

Agreed or not agreed, some things remain questionable. Nevertheless, these lines made me chuckle every time: "POOF out the window" and "WHOOSH over your heads".
Now we'll never know :-/

My epitaph for Jim built/influenced by our years of private communications is not one that would be welcomed here: Best I simply say; "RIP" and let it go.

As for being missed, I simply suggest you pay your respects and move on in life. Place your finger in a glass of water, then remove it. Did you leave a hole in the water? I know for certain that I will not!

Fletcher,

Jim's Plan may or may not include leaving something of value to his heirs. It will be their decision to choose which of many paths to follow. Regretfully, my gut feeling based on our mutual forte tells me he had nothing!

    • Derogatory is in the eyes of the beholder.

The mention of words left unsaid said them.
Hey Jim, when you see my client tell him I'll be along shortly. I just have a few more things to do. I hit your greenie, seems to have had an effect.

Damn. I kind of expected the old boy to show up and say

It's no secret that Jim and I didn't see eye to eye on certain things in recent years. However, I will remember the Jim I liked in the early days of this forum. He played his part in making a great and exciting forum which I enjoyed participating in immensely, and his contribution was appreciated. I found it sad to see the effects ill health clearly had on him and I'm really sorry to hear of his passing and offer my condolences to his family and friends.

Rest In Perpetual Peace, Jim.
