PBS has a couple of interesting programs dealing with nuclear energy that are currently available to watch online.
One is...
An episode of NOVA entitled "The Nuclear Option."

...and the other is...
"Containment," an episode of the series Independent Lens.

I found "Containment" especially interesting in that it deals with the storage of nuclear waste in the U.S.. Due to the half life of some of it being 24,100 years (I believe it was), it will be dangerous for nearly 240,000 years, so it obviously poses something of a problem.
They show the Waste Isolation Pilot Plant in New Mexico where low level nuclear waste is buried 2150 feet below ground in a salt deposit. They hope to store it there for 10,000 years and plan to put up some sort of warning above ground for future generations.
Apparently high level nuclear waste is currently just stored in pools of water at the nuclear plants themselves.
...wow..
Programs about nuclear energy.
