Hi Trevor,

it maybe that some Moons are balanced and some Moons are not. If there was Magnetism linkage and the Earth is spinning then the Moon should be spinning as well, the magnetism would act like a magnetic gear linkage. I will have to look at the force vectors in a overlap of the joint, Sun, Earth, and Moon Orbit vectors, to add weight to my theory, and suggest you do the same.

Edit, The Coriolis Effect, is also worth looking into, this effect is lost to a Superior force such as Gravity locked unbalanced mass, if the mass is balance though then there is little to stop this effect from spinning the mass.

This is just a theory nothing more.

Trevor Lyn What Whatford, think about this for a bit; every body, what ever the shape always presents the same mass toward earth.
So it cannot be gravitation that locks a moon.

Hi Trevor,

see the above edit, your mind seems to be made up, mine is still open, it is just a theory nothing more.

Yes I agree and until someone comes with a stronger logical argument it stands, so I am open minded to that.

I hope members know the Moon is not spherical.

It has a centre of mass however remember to treat it as a point cloud of gravitating object locked into a solid structure.

Also remember it lost it's rotation when it was molten.

Hi argo95,

I cannot remember that far back lol.

It does beg the question did the moon ever spin. How much of what we know about the Moon is fact and how much is speculation, this applies to the universe as well.

Guys, these are valid questions and I'm sure we could prove this one way or another using a model in conjunction with computer simulation.
What a fascinating way to get the noble prize.

Hi Trev

I remember it well. sitting there in my asbestos trousers looking up at the moon every 9 hours. Watching the land waves.

Dreaming about counting a disky thing rotating all by itself.

Then I woke up here freezing my bollocks off. ;-)

Hi Trevor,

I for one will get my Noble prize with a rotating gravity device, or maybe more than one, I will show how the laws of leverage are not broken, and put forward a new science, This new science is called Circumvent Science. It uses the laws of leverage, but Circumvents the time distance traveled part. It does not even need a build it is self evident just looking at the drawings.

Yes Trevor, but you have prove it with a hands-on model!

Hi Trevor,

Not when you show the drawings, then people can work it out for their selves,
the problem comes when you don't show anything.

It is my intention to show the drawings to a few trusted members to give it the once over, until I get the time to build it. I have two other builds on the go, and another 30 or more in the pipe line.

The Circumvent design has came from what I found in 4 of my old builds, that singly would not work.

No doubt I have overlooked something, that's why it is best to show others, it looks good to me though.

Mostly though I was having a bit of fun with you, for thinking that you could get a Noble prize from the moon, when you have a working wheel only days away, surly that would stand more chance of getting a Noble Prize, by doing the impossible.

TLW, Pm is definitely possible if you have the secret principle!

Also, if you were floating freely in space there is nothing you can do with your arms or legs to make yourself turn simply because every action has an equal and opposite reaction.

Hi Trevor,

Your Quote,
TLW, Pm is definitely possible if you have the secret principle!
I have known for years PM is possible, and a secret principle is not the answer, it has to be a working principle, of which there will be many.

Your Quote,
Also, if you were floating freely in space there is nothing you can do with your arms or legs to make yourself turn simply because every action has an equal and opposite reaction.

Now your having fun with me lol.

Here's my original post which has a larger video of the above gif and a link to this section of the original youtube video that I made it from:

Rotating in place without an external torque is something that we can do.
I don't believe in conspiracies!
I prefer working alone.

Yes there I agree because the principle of gyroscopic rotation about an axis is being used but now find me an instance where the center of gravity is altered in any direction.
