Raj, tell me, is David doing a simulation...or an animation? There is a difference between the two. If David is doing a conceptual animation, as many who do this type of work are paid to do, he might use something like Autodesk Inventor or Solidworks or 3D Studio or Rhino...or any other CAD-based platform with rendering and animation capabilities...to make a 3D presentation of your idea. But that is all it is - a presentation; a concept. A movie with special effects. Architects use this for animated walkthroughs of virtual rendered building designs to show to their clients for rejection or approval. Engineers use it to present ideas and convey mechanical concepts and relationships. Ask David if he is doing an actual kinematic simulation powered by a reliable physics engine. In reality, your auto wheel is merely conforming to how physics works, which is why the auto wheel stalls. An object will always seek out equilibrium. No matter where you start your wheel, it will always bottom out. The weights cannot lift themselves as they have no power to do so. Try leaning over as far as you can without falling. If you do fall, is it possible to lift yourself back up without using your limbs?

Dear Silvertiger,

I sincerely appreciate your or any forum members' interest in what I present on this forum.

Primo, I am not trying to fool anybody with what I present here.
Secundo, My presentations are my genuine thoughts about perpetual motion machines, which I became interested since 1980's.

Regarding David M:
His work has already been presented on this forum , under one of my thread.
Here is a link to his work on one of my previous concept;
Http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XjGKfU4cTWk

David is employed as a mechanical design engineer at a top multinational, and does only freelancing work part time.

I would have liked your own 2D simulation if only you would have presented my complete concept, Unfortunately you missed out a very important element of my design : the CORDS as they are presented in my drawings and explanations.

@ Sleepy.

Quite belated.

But not forgotten.

Thank you, my dear friend.

You have always been encouraging towards me.

Raj...that is an animation...not a simulation.

@ Silvertiger.

I graduated in Maths and Computer Science in 1980 in UK.

The first thing I learnt in Computer Science way back in 1980's is:

GARBAGE IN GARBAGE OUT.

That's why I am not overjoyed by your own ANIMATION.

Can you please do me a 3D simulation of my Auto Wheel concept, using MY DATA. I send US$ 100 ( one hundred) instantly to your bank account.

It wasn't an animation...it was a dynamic kinematic simulation governed by real-world physics. This means that the way you saw it behave in the simulation is how it will behave in the real world. I animated nothing. Aside from that, it's always good to know that my work is garbage. Thanks, Raj. :D

@Silvertiger.

I have sufficient reasons to believe that you are trying to make it hard for me.

I have gone through a lot of trouble to show YOU, the attached documents.

I'm really not. Are the blue connections the cords I'm missing?

@ Silvertiger.

I know from the start that yours is a SIMULATION, because I know one, when I see one.

I referred to it as an animation, just to taunt you, for not having done it according to MY DATA, and your maintaining your conclusions regardless.

I stand by my offer if you can do a 3D simulation of my Auto Wheel concept with my DATA. A second proof of concept will be more than welcomed.

I did add the cords. I see what you're going for, since the cords lock up half the spokes at the center. It still bottoms out though because, due to finding equilibrium, some spokes fall in the wrong direction.

@ Silvertiger.

Look at the drawing I posted on page 2 of this thread.

My wheel concept will work only in one direction, either clockwise or counter-clockwise, depending on the geometry of the build.

I am 73 years old today.

This could well be my last attempt at perpetual motion wheel/ bessler's wheel attempt.
