Different style of handles on .M.T wheels
Hello, I don't see a topic on this. If there is be glad to erase. Does anyone know why the original drawings of the M.T. have 2 styles of hand cranks on the ends of the axels?

It would be interesting to find out if it's been noticed before now. Then we can find out what the speculation is on the topic.Jon J Hutton wrote: ↑Tue Aug 23, 2022 6:40 am Hello, I don't see a topic on this. If there is be glad to erase. As to Bessler's motivation to do so. I expect it is not documented so it died along with him.
The only two other aspects are 1. symbolism 2. mechanical properties.
In your opinion do you see any mechanical differences between the two?
Respect.

Hey, Agor95. I don't see a mechanical advantage but all the drawings of his display wheels only use one style, the mt drawing show both.

I wondered about these too, probably just because to show the orientation of the wheel turning..

As was mentioned are not all the cranks curved but on the other perspective in plane look straight. Do we have a straight crank on a side perspective?
