Suppose we have a ball going 1m/s entering different circular tracks.

They all exert CF force and come out the same speed of 1m/s.

They all exert the same momentum.

The differences are the smaller the circle, the greater the force and the shorter the time it takes to bounced back.

And the most extreme case, the ball go straight and bounce back. This is also a form of CF force with very strong force and very short time.

Interesting drawing.

So we have a fixed mass,say 1 kg, travelling at 3.6 Kilometres per Hour [1 m/s].

I think I would have had the start & end points created so all the scenarios were the same length.
Also the description would include the radius of each path.

When I look at this study I see the masses are pulled towards the radius focus from their natural tendency to move in a straight line. That is an an acceleration.

So the greater the curve the more pull is required. As you observe the there is less length of arc for smaller curves.

I wonder what would happen if the path follows the curve but also spirals around it.
This is done to make all the curves to have the same length.

P.S. always question and look were people do not bother to look.
