:Hello Mr. Tim,

No there is nothing specific and in fact I have not seen evidence that the pieces existed, it was just reported that there were some wheel pieces. I have a copy of a document which lists in the form of an inventory his effects and there is no mention of the wheel or any bits relating to it. There are things like books and scientific instruments of the time such as a kind of telescope, but nothing remotely like a wheel. I expect that if pieces of a wheel existed after Bessler's death somebody grabbed them in the hope that they might reveal the method used.

Yes I have considered supplying the book in CD-ROM but am concerned that it might be copied to easily. I must find some way of preventing copying or at least makng it difficult.

Hello!
: In the 'Random Thoughts' post (way, way down), you stated that Bessler's belongings were given away after he died, and that the pieces of a broken wheel are listed. Is there any specific information available as to what these items were? (I am most interested about his tools, any materials, metalwork, etc. that might have been listed.) Sorry if you have to dig deep for this one!
: MrTim
: p.s. Is there any chance that you might release your book on CD-ROM?
