jeff. the bowl in question is approx 24 ins in diameter. 3 circles fit into a 24 inch circle,( well draw it out or do some simple mathmatics ) a little under 8 inches per circle. having got the size of each ball therefore, half this and you have the height of the petal tips, a little under 4 inches, exactly as stated by christopher dunn and zack sitchin in their books. the same rule applies whatever. just choose some balls, measure them and work the other dimensions out from that.
alternatively, and it isn`t easy and i haven`t done it too well myslf yet,
choose your balls, put three together and find something to fit around them. a rubber band is best
sit a plastic disc, pre cut to the correct diameter in a bowl of boiling hot water. wearing rubber gloves drop the 3 held balls into the centre of the disc and then reach in to push one at a time the outer 3 balls into place
do you get my drift?
3 in the centre, floppy hot plastic, gently prise up the edges and push the outer ones in to touch the inner curling the floppy plastic into the required shape. its as i say hard to get right even if 3 people do it as one but you get a good result especially if you can get 2 decent examples cos you can them see them back to back indeed you can mount them on some axle or other and you are then able to see so much more easily what will happen here rather than blowing a mental fuse in trying to imagine it all at once
.good luck, thanks to yourself and others for your support, i`ll try to take a deep breath and chill out a wee bit
God Bless
Gill
