I think Bessler was a very religious man who never told a lie; he was just very economical with the truth and deliberately talked in riddles to put people of the scent.
I also believe it is entirely possible to for the weights to work in pairs within the thickness of the wheel.
Nobody knows exactly how he did it, even if we do succeed, we will never know if it is what he did.
I have been working on this for 5 years and constantly use the eyewitness reports and Bessler’s own words to cross check my ideas, I now have a design that fits everything that has been recorded and it looks as if it will work on paper, give me 6 months.
