The strength of a core belief

Since there are some skeptics out there I thought that I would mention the unique workings of the human psyche in regards to strong core beliefs and there power over ones personality. We have all been in the position where we have informed some one of a bigger picture in regards to something and you run into them the next day and they act as if this revelation never ocurred and they are still operating through the old format. It is as if some strong core belief has a control over their identity. The human ego has such "interesting" propensities! Since I have become aware of various self circulatory systems that will do work, there is still a part of me that goes "But how can this work because blah, blah, blah", so some of that old programming is still in the background. To me it is just an simple unrecognized concept(s) to mainstream science at the moment. It shouldn't be that big of a deal. John
