This design is similar to Bessler's MT 18, as at www.orffyre.com/mt1-20.html

The advantage of Bessler's MT 18 is that centrifugal force problems are much reduced.

If your design is applied to a 9 foot diameter wheel that rotates at 50 RPM (Draschwitz one-directional), the weights would be permenantly pinned at the rim from centrifugal force in excess of 1G.

Even if power is somehow applied to push the weights away from the rim, towards the axle, we still have the problem of how fast a weight can fall under the influence of Gravity.

What a surprise that gravitational overbalance alone (radially moved weights at rim) can not replicate Bessler's fast wheel speeds.
