: Darren, is it possible you drafted up something that would work except you had inadvertedly overlooked a vital or unworkable piece of geomitry or principle, and are now trying to correct?

Nope.

Look at it this way... I have two designs that I believe will exhibit OU. They both take advantage of a very well known physics "principle" to acheive OU but in two different configurations. The first configuration would be more of a pain to build but I am 100% sure that it would work (due to a year of painstakingly detailing the calculations for the thing). The second design is simpler and employs that same physics "principle" but doesn't have all the calculations done yet. So I've chosen to work on design II first, do the calculations in a software sim instead of by hand (so it gets done faster). But even if I have made a mistake on Design II and it's not OU then I can fall back on the previous design. Either way something *will* get built.

I am not backpeddling or trying to correct something I hadn't seen before, I'm sill moving forward with the same design (II) , I'm just a little slow at getting things done is all.

I feel that it would definitely be my responsibility to tell everyone right away if I ran into some fatal flaw in my design. I wouldn't keep up some facade. I'm in this for real, not to scam. If I make a mistake I admit it.

Thanks Jason!!
Darren
