: wow, after looking at those pictures, it really looks as if Stewart may be on to something big! The parts all of the images that come out below are in a state of overballance. Hmmm, interesting....

What I find is amazing is all the work put into the MT drawings on orffyre.com. Bravo. I sincerely commend you for all your efforts. As for the overlays... I'm not so sure about that.

: Hey, anything there look like what you're working on, Darren?;-) :-)

No, but I did find three MT drawings on the Orffyre site that had pieces and parts that were similar to mine. I haven't seen all the MT drawings yet, many aren't posted yet, but from what I've seen so far this is what I think... Bessler's MT is simply a compliation of everything he tried that didn't work... but there are pieces and parts sprinkled here and there that might be combined to find "the answer." I don't know about the whole "code number" thing because even if you were to crack a code and figure out which 8 (or whatever number) MT drawings to combine and use you still wouldn't know which parts of which drawings go together.

I *obviously* could bt totally wrong but... in my opinion MT is an extremely cool example of another "museum of unworkable devices," his notebook of balancing designs (I have one too), and not really that much more. I'll reserve final judgement for when I've seen *all* his drawings, but I haven't seen anything in MT that stands out yet.

Incidentally, I've just sent Sterling a new update (part III) for GreaterThings.com. Don't know if he'll have published it by the time you read this but... its possible :-)

Later!
Darren
