Hi Grim,
LOL, I loved your remarks! But actually I am quite honored and happy about this. I'm actually a big fan of Crank.NET. True, its tone is skeptical to the point of being disrespectful, which is bad. But I think Crank.NET is run by a member of a certain class of skeptics who actaully do us all a great service. These sites are excellent resources for finding and researching new ideas. They also help keep us all honest. Erik Krieg's skeptic pages (http://www.users.voicenet.com/~eric/skeptic/) also come to mind.

"Cranky," to me, is a fine category to be placed in. As Mark Twain said, "Cranks keep the world turning." Even Jean L. Naudin, who is working for NASA on real antigravity "lifters" gets placed on the "Cranky" list.

I must admit that I wouldn't have been as pleased to get the "Crankiest" rating, which is usually reserved for paranormal and conspiracy theories. Not that there's anything WRONG with those... ;)

: I just visited a site called crank.net, and this site (Besslerwheel.com) was listed as the number one perpetual motion crank site. The site owner displays his site as "cranks, crackpots, kooks and loon on the net". John Collins' website was also listed.
: It seems to me that everyone who contributes to this site has a genuine interest in uncovering the technology that Bessler used, and there were just too many eyewitnesses to attribute the whole deal as baloney. I'm not sure who the author of crank.net is,
: but I guess he is entitled to his opinion. Of course, if it is his opinion that i am a "crank, crackpot, kook or loon", then I guess its equally ok for me to have my opinion that I got his crank right here.........
