Do you know a source of open (no lube) bearings with 1/4" I.D. and minimal O.D.?

I'm going to go ahead and take the working drawing of what I've got planned (an addition on the one already posted) and send it to Scott as .jpg later tonite/early morn. and let all see the rest of it. It's simple as all get out, minimal friction. I'll try it with only two throws first, and if it does what I believe it will I'll make the other two to set up 90 degrees off on the disk's reverse side. Showed the diagram to my buddy at his job shop last night. We worked out the weight out-weight-in area on a drafting pad. The lowest weight NEVER EVER gets to approach the bottom more than one weight diameter below the axle. He described the action he saw as " a horse caught in a flash flood trying to paw up the bank". Had to go back to the "horseshoe" tierod because I need the hole through the axle to be used to link the "curtain traverse rods".
By the way, I went to www.spartechsoftware.com, and they have a little different version of Count Karl's observation of the original interior design. They quote him as saying it was "a simple arrangement of weights and strings". This damn thing wanted to go with the weights taped fixed in place, so it's time to quit talkin' and start chalkin', as they say in billiards.

Keys in the icebox? Good idea, I'll look in the one I threw out in the front yard. Oh hell, I gotta figure out where I put the car first!

Regards to all,

Grim
