How much could a potential perpetual motion device be sold for? I have an idea in mind for such a machine that is about 3 times the size of of the average refrigerator that could power someones house for an indefinite period of time. I have had this design in my head for quite sometime, actually for several years. I have been too afraid to attempt to actually build it for two reasons. (One) you might get killed by someone from the oil and utility industries. Why? Because they would no longer be needed. You would take a considerally large chunk of money from their pockets and in the end put them out of business. And (second) there would be chaos. Lawsuits over who has rights to it, people out of work, it would eventually become government regulated, and it would not be free anymore. Another thing you might want to consider is if the government has anything to say about it, they will try to take control over whatever life you thought you had. They would want to be the only ones with the technology and they will stop at nothing to ensure that it is kept under wraps. You will be closley monitored to make sure your not giving up any secrets to "the other side", they will force you to keep it to yourself and in the end they might even restrict you to some compound to ensure the complete containment of such information.
