I must say, that looks really sweet, so nice and elegant...I do see some friction problems with the wheels, maybe put some bearings on the edge? (Wheels on wheels in wheels ?!?!)
I can just see these mass (pun!) produced with plastic/teflon anvils,
and silver weights, a real show piece for kids to play with...
I will try building it-very cheaply (card board,etc...)
I wonder how small it can be and still work? 1-2 inches?!
