Here's a link that explains John Edwards:
http://www.weblemur.net/JohnEdward2.html

: A lot of people who feel they get visions from dreams keep a pencil and paper or tape recorder nearby to document dreams upon awakening so they are fresh in their minds. I was taught that the subconscious mind is like a big dumb computer and the conscious mind is its operator; if the conscious mind gives the subconscious a direct command (not a list, one command at a time) the subconscious has no choice but to follow it by any and all means. Some people write down a question or problem and put it under their pillows and often wake to find they have an answer in their minds. I now this sounds silly, but it forces the subconscious to have a focus, which it hates to do. It's normally chaotic and "noisy".
: You might be interested in books by Tom Brown, "The Tracker" and "Vision Quest". He was trained at young age by a Native American shaman, and he basically IS a shaman. he deals a lot with seeking and understanding visions and dreams, his jouneys on Vision Quests are fascinating reading.

: You know I had a strange thought the other day; thought about approaching that John Edward guy that "talks to the dead", explain the situation with this device, and see if he could "contact" old J.B. to see if he was still so secretive about this wheel after a couple of hundred years. Not saying I buy into that sort of thing, but I'd sure like to see if he (Edwards) would be willing to do it and what might transpire.

: Regards to all.
