Besslers Wheel

Hi all,
I just found this site by accident and this some very interesting discussions.

Besslers wheel, What a challenge! As soon as I saw it I started think of how it could be done. After a bit of brainstorming (15 mins) I now have a plan! and am 99.9% sure it will work. So now I have to go away and have a crack at it.

The only problem is, My solution is so simple I cant believe none of you guys have figured it out.

What kind of times have you reached with a running wheel, ie 3 hours, 3 days, 3 weeks ?

I need a target to beat as mine will be contructed with a hacksaw and a hammer there will be no fine precision as it is not needed and probably was not used in the day of the Bessler Wheel.
