I have always thought this would make a great movie !

You would need a person capable of both act sincierly "mad" and
also have a young aperance.I think the movie would have to cover
Bessler from age 20 - 65, so the period of 20-30 would roule out som acters :-)

Originally I thought of the person playing Dracula and Bethoven,
don`t remeber his name. I think the Bethoven movie and the Bethoven caracter/life itself is much like Bessler !!
He played the "mad" Bethoven from young age and until death,
so good that I almost cried :-)

PS ! When the replication is done, and rights etc. is cleared, I can see a biiiig money making machine of this movie, as we could follow the actual experiments (to some degree) and let the
audience actually get the understanding and see how the inner workings worked, while we follow and understand that the critics have wrong all along...some 300 years or so :-)
I see the movie start of with precent time, and how the
re-discoverer (another person) believe in Perpetual motion in a school-class,
and gets laughed of by proffessors, as this happen, he dreams away to 1700...+ and we see the Bessler story...

Maybe this also would secure rights etc...?
By making such a movie, sharing rights with a movie company...
As the movie go public,"all hell is breaking loose" but everybody will know who the idea belongs too, because it will be shown before and after the movie...

: If an inspirational and worthwhile adaptation of Johanns' life were made into a good film, who would you want to play the leading role? John
