: Hi Georg

: Elsewhere on your site (finally got there thru Google Search and translate) you've got a photograph of a beautifully machined set of planetary gears with unbalanced weights that are connected with a link across the central shaft, and appear to be rotated (with their weights) by an outside ring gear.

: My question is, is this not the basic setup in your drawing, with the center shaft eliminated and replaced by some sort of external idler (or driver)?

: By the way, if you did the machining on that cast-gear photo model, beautiful job! Many hours there with all the hobbing teeth from rough cast, and the mill work on top of it. I envy your patience!

Hello Grim,
you are right, the solution i described is a derivate of my gear-modell.
But the gear-model doesn't work as expected. The old blue drum works.
I compared both models again and again and found out, that the gear-version has no possibility to swing.
the new version i have now build has the allowence to swing, and it works too.

So the solution i described is really a derivate of my 'Drehmomentspeicher'.
The 'Drehmomentspeicher' uses Centifugal force, the other solution runs only with gravity.

regards Georg
