: I dont suppose there is an easy way to translate german patents ???... Hey george did they grant your patent? I dont see it..

To translate a German patent in English:

Go to:
http://ep.espacenet.com/espacenet/ep/en/e_net.htm?search5

Fill up the 'Publication Number' line with the number of the patent:
Example:
DE19620775

(
BTW:
DE for Deutch (German);
CA for Canadian;
AU for Australian;
FR for French;
US for US!;
GB for English;
CN for China;
Etc...
)

Clic on the 'SEARCH' button in the bottom of the page.
Wait for few seconds.
You will see:
"DE19620775 Perpetual motion device."
Clic on 'DE19620775'
Wait for few seconds.
Clic on the 'DESC' button.
Now, the text is in HTML format. Save it and give it to Google.

Example:
"Die Beschreibung bezieht sich auf ein Perpetuum mobile,
dass ohne Energiezufuhr Arbeit leistet.
Dabei wird nur das Prinzip erläutert und schematisiert dargestellt.
Auf technische Details wird weitgehenst verzichtet.
Die Beschreibung basiert auf einem Ausführungsbeispiel.

I. Massepunktsystem
Das Perpetuum mobile besteht aus 4 Masseelemente die in einem Massepunktsystem
zusammenwirken. Die Masseelemente 1.1-1.4 stellen die Massepunkte
des gesamten System dar, aus denen alle Kraftwirkungen abgeleitet werden.

Die 4 Masseelemente 1.1-1.4 sind um den Drehpunkt D.2 angeordnet,
wobei das Masseelement 1.1 auf der Kurve 3.1 gebunden geführt wird (Fig. 1-4)."
............

Google translation.

"The description refers to a Perpetuum mobile that without
energy input work carries out.
Only the principle is described and represented schematized.
Without technical details weitgehenst one does.
The description is based on a remark example.

I. Ground system the Perpetuum mobile consists those
of 4 mass elements in a ground system cooperates.
The mass elements 1,1-1,4 represent the grounds to entire system,
from which all kraftwirkungen are derived.
The 4 mass elements 1,1-1,4 are arranged around the fulcrum D.2,
whereby 1,1 on the curve 3,1 binds the mass element is led (Fig. 1-4)."

---------------------------------
With the drawings, a good dictionary for some missplelling words
(kraftwirkungen?) and a good imagination (:))) you should be able
to catch the idea.

Hope this help.
