VECTOR VIPER HI! I've had many designs similar to yours where the weights are fixed but arranged in a way where they are not raised at all,they are attached to rods within the wheel so as to turn with the wheel. (no luck!) Some of my past designs showed that it would work better off turning backwards than forward because of the way the 'L'shaped rods were turning. (no luck also!) Also I believe that Bessler added extra weights so he could create the 4 loud noises with every turn of the wheel because, No 1. He needed to confuse the simplicity of the internal wheel design,and No 2. He wanted to make an impression on peoples minds so as to have It viewed as athentic,impressive and to reach the ears of many for a potential buyer. ANTON.
