Maybe you could indulge me and tell me more about yourself; your background,training etc., I would be curious to know what you have you been doing for seven years? I am no sceptic, I take this hobby/task/challenge very seriously. Since Maschinen Tractate alone has close to 100 separate/distinct wheel diagrams I find it peculiar that you seem unsettled at the concept of 'hundreds of designs'.
