Re: Weightlifting
You're right about the pantograph having a non-linear mechanical advantage, where force is traded for distance. In the 3:1 example, you'd need to move the mechanism 3 times the horizontal distance to lift the weight by a third of that. So, if the horizontal movement is 10 cm, the vertical lift would...

The math thanks to Ai: To show the math behind this theoretical mechanism, let’s calculate how the system works based on leverage, geometry, and mechanical advantage. Assumptions: Input weight: 100 kg 100kg (about 980 N 980N of force due to gravity). Scissor mechanism (X-shape) starts at the bot...

Hey all, I’ve been working on an idea that combines a scissor mechanism (XX shape) and a pantograph to achieve vertical lift from lateral motion without relying on traditional falling weights. Here’s a breakdown of the concept: The Scissor Mechanism: The mechanism starts at the bottom of a V-shaped ...

Re: Mech that lifts its own weight
Well if it was logical it would already most likely be invented? Its kind of a mechanical bouyancy ideea i have. But air is substituted by mass. Lifting a mass with another mass is the logical thing but that havent worked out good so far? Or exchanging mass for distance?

Re: Mech that lifts its own weight
Thanks Sam, its kind of what i thought of but to be clearer: imagine you are on the first floor, and step on a mechanism that lifts you to the second floor using only your weight. I better try to build it

Mech that lifts its own weight
Is there any known mechanism that can lift its own weight using only its own weight?

Re: Can the ultimate and all-sustaining secret of Freemasonry be found in Bessler's work?
So where does this lead to? A working wheel, with drawings of the mechanism? Is there a working model behind your theories? If not why?

Three
If one should find the solution, my best guess is that it should be really simple. So if you you were to construct a mechanism that only have three parts, heres my suggestion: O, the wheel itself, X, the scissormech and a modification of the X or scissor mech.

You got good information on Pi Agor95, the ads on the app was voted for covering inital costs of servers and expensives. The ads can be turned off if you wish to do so. As any new tech it is a bit controversial, specially in the crypto space, i get the impression the long time members are most scept...

Re: Digital currency
Hi agor95, yes i dabbled with coinbase learn/earn:but the currency im most interested in now is Pi network. It has 35 million users but is not like all the other cryptocurrencys out there.Their main focus is trying to build a stable, easy to use, dayly currency. Its not on any exchange yet, they are...
