A working PMD- is this real?

Post by kenfree »

Hi guys,

After a long break, I stumbled across some device on the net.
Seems to be working. I don't know if you have discussed it before. What do you think?

Yes, I have seen it a couple of times in real life. It has been on display for over a decade I think. It runs for some weeks or months between each "reset". Cleaning the tracks and time the pendulums with the ball etc. It produces quite a lot of air drag and noise/heat. As far as I can tell it gives much more energy of to the envirnoment than Finsrud puts in with his fingers when reseting the device. There are no usable energy to extract from the device.

Think about / or calculate the energy needed to pull such a heavy ball along those tracks at that speed for 2 months.

Kenfree,

Having been a member of this forum since 2009, and having past connections with you. I am surprised that you just frequently become aware of the "Finsrud" machine. I presume you no longer spend much time here!

Ralph,

Nice to hear from you Ralph, after a long time. I trust you and your group are doing good. In deed I have taken a long time since I last visited this site. Maybe two years or so. I had to pursue some other personal interests, and work on my business.
Its amazing how much one can miss out on this subject when away.
I actually came across the "Finsrud" machine just the other day and am surprised it has been there all along.
Well, am happy to be back and hope I will catch up with events at hand.

I am not done with my machine yet. Somehow, I feel there is still 'hope' though I was discouraged after I found out that even if it worked (with some modification), the power from it would be little and may not be practically useful.
Anyway, I will see what i can do with the idea and also explore more on
Bessler's wheel.

Eric
