re: Is this IT?
Raj ,
If your wheel is simetrical , the weights must be the same on both sides of the wheel , and there can be no cw or ccw overbalance , I would advise you to look at your design before you spent money on someone else building your design at a price you may not recover as this design will surely fail . For a ball to perpetually hop up and down , the up must be always more with EVERY hop , that is why I have made a claim that for a ob wheel only , the wheel dia has to increase with every turn of the wheel .
Keep the ideas flowing , but see the impossible in every design , until U find the impossible
one .
Daan .

Dear Daan,
I regret to say that you have failed to grasp the intricate string and weights arrangement that forces the motion of the weights in an assymmetric path as shown in the last drawings above.
The weights on the ascending side are pulled simultaneously, UPWARDS by the string pivoting on the rim of the larger wheel AND INWARDS by the string pivoting on the arms of the smaller wheel.
And yes, as you say, the wheels are symmetric, with the smaller wheel inside the larger wheel on separate axles, geared by belt and rotating at the same speed, as a single wheel rotating unit.
I have gone through a lot of trouble explaining my concept. I have reason to believe that MANY of you, on this forum, are NOT happy with my Auto Hamster Gravity Wheel concept presentation here.
Many TOP BRASS!
My AHGW design is a UNIQUE GEM!!!

Raj ,
It does not matter if you lift the weight in Deli and drop it in Antananarivo , the dropped weight can never lift the counter weight of the same mass to the same night doesn't matter how smart you try to pull the stings .
I don't know if your eyesight is bad or your ears waxed up .
Your friend in Bessler

OK Raj ,
I appreciate your honesty .
What happened to the previous wheel that you garenteed me would work , just look back at your posts if you're lost .
I also made claims of devine knowlage of a working wheel infrastructure , but after indulging in heavenly peace and some of Bachus's juices , It was showered upon me that you should never hold back a fart , for that. creeps up your spine into your head and that is where all those shi# ideas come from .
What I give to you is free , you do not have to pay for it , nor heed to it , it is just a reminder to see the most basic and logic laws of nature .

Looks like I should not have posted any drawings and pictures here.
Just babbles would have sufficed.

Hi Raj ,
In your drawings ( 5 in all )
number 1 no cw torque
number 2 cw torque
number 3 no cw torque
number 4 ccw torque
In no 4 the small wheel is pulling the mass on the lh side towards the axel ,this creates ccw torque to the small wheel , which is connected to the main wheel , add this to the the
ccw torque from the mass on the lh side of the main wheel rim , then what you have gained
at no 2 you loose at no 4
If you do not want to hear about the flaws in your design ,
Maybe I can help you with a recipe for hard boiled eggs .

Funny you should ask. I know a couple of old hens that come over from time to time and want to play some bridge. I always oblige and try to be a great host. I love making them deviled eggs (may my client forgive me) but it's always a bear to get that egg out of the shell.daanopperman wrote:Maybe I can help you with a recipe for hard boiled eggs .
Some suggest using fresher eggs. Some say a pinch of salt in the water as you're boiling them. I always have a problem getting the shell off the goodie.
What do you suggest, honey?

Use older eggs. It's easier to get them out of their shell. After boiling, rinse them in very cold water. Crush the shells by rolling them in your hands. Then place them under a strong flow of water from the kitchen faucet. Usually the shells will simply rinse off the egg. If the egg sticks to the shell, then the egg was too fresh.
