Mon idée d'actionneur équilibré m'a conduit à un système type échelle de Jacob.

Le miroir de ma salle de bain m'a inspiré ce qui suit en croquis.
Premier essai sous Algodoo correcte avec deux systèmes opposés, reliés par une barre de synchronisation.
L'idée étant toujours de bénéficier de la chute d'un poids pour actionner les Lazy-Tongs à l'horizontale.
A ce stade je ne sais pas ce que cela va donner.

The mirror in my bathroom inspired me to sketch the following.
First test under Algodoo correct with two opposite systems, connected by a synchronization bar.
The idea is always to benefit from the drop of a weight to operate the Lazy-Tongs horizontally.
At this point I don’t know what the outcome will be.

Avancement:
Les mécanismes fonctionnent, plus de coincement.
Un ensemnle unitaire composé de deux Lazytong et d'un système type Roberval fonctionne comme je le souhaitais.
J'ai équipé une roue avec trois ensembles qui fonctionnent corectement, mais la roue ne tourne pas comme espéré.
je vais faire un essai avec quatre ensembles, mais comme dirait Sam on est plus proche du canard mort!!!
A suivre.

Advancement:
The mechanisms work, no more jamming.
A unitary set composed of two Lazytong and a Roberval system works as I wished.
I have equipped a wheel with three sets that work together, but the wheel does not spin as expected.
I’ll give it a try with four sets, but as Sam would say we’re closer to the dead duck!!!

This is pretty neat. Will the weight of the rod overcome the lower CoM of the activator weights that hang on the lazy tongs?

Don't forget shadow that you always have the option of triggering the lazy tongs via a cord or chain so that if you don't like where they are at, they can be relocated. You lose the ability to push so you have to pull in 2 directions. Even so I like your diagram and it makes one think that whatever bessler pushed down on could have simply been a weight much like the lazy tong trigger weights in this diagram. That could be what was heard in the top of the wheel and not an iron spring as was suggested. They didn't see it...just observed the noise.

Yes I went and looked at it and all I saw was a minute teapot like is used in the UK and Australia among other places. It's just a submersible heating element AFAICT.

Je suis occupé entrautre à réaliser des essais réels car Algodoo perds la boule.
Et j'ai d'autres idées à explorer mais peut être pas viables
