Has anyone here had experience with Algodoo sim software?
If so, can you point to reasons that it would show, incorrectly, that a wheel design is self sustaining.
I am reasonably certain that the issue is not with my friction settings.
Also, is Algodoo considered a reliable simulation application? If not, please recommend a different one.
Thanks.

Hi,
Use Phun only if you are not needing precise experiments. Use WM2D if you are doing precise experiments. Lastly, test the experiment in real life, never rely on software.

gravity is still a theory so making software based on current theory doesn't always work exactly as real world :P

Thanks for the info!
Is WM2D much more complicated to use? (Algodoo was fairly easy)
Is there a free trial version?
Can I import my Algodoo file into WM2D?
Thanks again.

Thanks Chris.
Is there any way to compensate/adjust for the pivot point variances? I'd rather not spend the money /time converting this into WM2D, and I want a fairly good idea about it's merits before actually building it.
