K, so, i was bored and decided to take a shot at the trigger mechanism, came up with something a bit better but still far from what it should be, uploaded a few videos on it,

ANYWAY! i captured 10+ minutes of the sim while it was processing and you can see in very minute details what is going on. Also i've set up the speed of the motor to 450+ rpm , i think the speed in the real machine was even higher, i discuss more on this in the video.

As of right now i have absolutely no more doubts that this is the real bessler wheel, the self starter, one way wheel.

Also realized that the springs are a must if anyone wants to get substantial amounts of power out of it, springs like in the first design that i published. IT MAKES A HUGE DIFFERENCE!

Also i do not know if it is a perpetual motion machine but if it is not, it's the best most efficient battery system that the world had ever seen or might see! Some might argue that it actually amplifies power, do not know, do not care! what i do know is that this machine WILL WORK THE WAY I PREDICT IT WILL! what i also know is that this is definitely Bessler's original design encoded in the toy page!

This is what springs do on the crossbar, a small animation in algodoo to showcase the behavior and importance of springs and their role into the entire system

PS: I think i figured out the ratchet system, it needs a rework, it will look a bit differently but it will behave the way it should. Hopefully i will manage to do it today.

So i'm playing with a new ratchet system, still not there ut i'm getting alot closer, also i'm playing with the spring settings and and AND!!!!!!!!

You can see here how the weight flies upward quickly! exactly the way it was described!

because the ratchet is not working the way it should yet there is just a glimpse of how it should be be i'm getting there.

I will explain it one more time!

The springs are preloaded, so 1 half of the wheel is already heavier, while it goes down it starts to spin the hammers, at a certain angle the ratchet is released, the weights move on the opposite side, but like a pendulum, they loose some distance, the distance is recovered through the inertia released by the hammers, Because the springs hold lots of tension they can go for a few cycles without recovering the distance untill they balance but they never get to because the hammers get super excited as in they reach HIGH RPM so they start to load the springs back to the original preload position

No it's not.

I certainly believe you think it is. I wish you the best but it's getting old people claiming to know how Bessler's wheel worked, without a " WORKING " model.

Thanks for sharing your progress.

Hi TheVisitorV,
I had a look to your progress, very amazing and clever construction.
This construktion will be needed after the Bessler wheel is developeded because it also uses the centrifugal, centripedal force.
So you construction is is beyond Bessler.
An own creation, but not Bessler.
Best regards

It's pointless to argue this but this is bessler's wheel, might not be an exact replica of one of his designs but is as close as possible, the reason for that is only cause we have different tools and different purposes. Now that i understand it i can do a few more iterations of this design but it's pointless right now. Perhaps i will show them in the future.

And most importantly it is completely based on his information, while it's hard to see it right now you will get it sooner or later.

NOW!!!! I finally made a proper ratchet system, not perfect yet but much better. and you can see it in action on the YT link, no closeups , i forgot about that, just realized but you can see what it does and the effect of it. Silly me, not sure why i have not thought of it before since it's based on the first version that i posted but whatever :)) it finally dawned on me :))

Either way, i see that this thread is more for purposes of documenting then anything else, so i will keep doing so.

EDIT 1: Forgot to upload, it will be ready in a few minutes, brb, lol

EDIT 2: here it is https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HVVL-MDgFNU

Georg if you believe me, and that is if you believe that this works not that this is or not bessler wheel, why don't you help me build it?

““All the inmost parts, and the perpetual-motion structures, retain the power of free movement. AP 291
What it means, is that some parts move freely some don't, what do you think are the most "inmost parts?"

“My 'principle of excess weight’, these weights are themselves the PM device, the 'essential constituent parts' which must of necessity continue to exercise their motive force so long as they keep away from the centre of gravity. DT 190 John Collins/Mike Senior translation of DT pp. 20-21
CHECKED, you can see in the vid that that is exactly what is going on

“As long as the upper weight remains outside the center of gravity, it incessantly exercises universal motion from which the essential constituent parts of the machine receive power and push. DT 20 Al Bacon (Glenn R. Rouse)/Ted of Chicago (Andrew Witter)
"essential constituent parts of the machine receive power and push." What do you think this parts are?

“I would have to ensure that the main parts are made of the best iron, steel and brass.
yeah...wonder why....so the machine is very simple, a dog could build it if he only knew how to forge spring steel.

"The inward structure of the wheel is of a nature according to the laws of mechanical perpetual motion, so arranged that by disposed weights once in rotation they gain force from their own swinging, and must continue their movement as long as their structure does not lose its position and arrangement."

Again, swinging is spinning, ONCE IN ROTATION THE BELT DRIVES THE HAMMERS!!!

"Unlike all other automata, such as clocks, or springs, or other hanging weights which require winding
up or whose duration depends on the chain which attaches them, on the contrary these weights are the essential parts, and constitute the perpetuum mobile itself; as from them is received the universal movement which they must exercise so long as they remain out of the centre of gravity; and when they come to be placed together, and so arranged one against another that they can never obtain equilibrium, or the punctum quietus which they unceasingly seek in their wonderous speedy flight, one or other of them must apply its weight
vertically to the axis, which in its turn must also move." PV 103 Henry Dirks/Goez and Beauchamp translation 1861

“At every turn of the wheel can be heard the sound of about eight weights, which fall gently on the side towards which the wheel turns. PM 95 Joseph Fischer letter

Bullshit, he hears something alright, but has no damn clue what he hears, face it!

"One could hear the weights landing on the overbalanced side, as though they were swinging, from which one can assume that the overbalancing was caused by their impact. - PM 114 – Christian Wolff letter to Schumacher

Same BULLSHIT, he hears but has no idea what he hears

JUST THINK ABOUT IT! this shit goes 20-30 RPM, how much do you think you can grasp while the entire machine makes all sorts of noises and you have no damn clue what is going on

THESE PEOPLE ARE JUST SPECULATING AND THAT IS ALL THEY DO! IF THEY ACTUALLY KNEW THEY WOULD HAVE BUILT IT!

1. "If one weight is giving an upward impetus, another one, at the same time, is giving an equal downward one." AP 347

YES! BUT ONE IS BLOCKED AND CAN"T MOVE so all the power gets deflected into only one!

“A work of this kind has as its basis of motion many separate pieces of lead [weights]. These come in pairs, such that, as one of them
takes up an outer position, the other takes up a position nearer the axle. AP 291

Yup, lots of pairs that are connected in all sorts of ways for all sorts of reasons

1. “Weights once in rotation they gain force from their own swinging." PMV 103 Dirks

OF COURSE THEY DO! LOOK AT THE ANGULAR MOMENTUM FORMULA
https://www.mathcelebrity.com/angularmomentum.php

Lots of people tried to build overunity machines based on this formula cause their intuition told them there is something special but they failed because they didn't understood how to implement it in their machines, TO HARVEST THE INERTIA YOU NEED TO DO IT ON AN PARALLEL plane 90 degrees on the axle. Most tried to do it on the outside of the wheel SEEN A LOT OF THIS GOING ON ON YOUTUBE!

“These weights are the essential parts. Once in rotation they gain force from their own swinging and when they come to be placed together, and so arranged one against another that they can never obtain equilibrium, one or other of them must apply its weight vertically to the axis, which in its turn must also move. PMV 103 Dirks

So what he says, and i've not commented is that the axle of the weights also moves, get it?

close ups of the ratchet system and a long video showing in slow mo the 1 seconds of the simulation, also tweaked the power of the compression springs and increased a bit the speed of the hammers.

Still need to tweak a bit more the clutches so they can catch better the ratchet teeth but anyway.

I will try do a simulation with chain but not sure if my computer can handle it, 2 many parts...

Also need to do an overhaul of the system and get it more towards a production standard.
I think i will let the small wheels for the chains because they cause less friction then the big ones.

Anyways, a lot more to come!

cheers!

I like to invest in your Company/Person, maybe in an pre IPO.
As I have said, your construction is beyond Bessler, it is better and has really huge potential.

But also my financial resourcers are also limited, I will see what I can do.
I personally can not help you with the build, I am not a Carpenter.

At least some money will help you to make your hard life easier.
I will send you an E-Mail.

Hey Georg, sent you back an email, don't know if you got it, your email arrived in my spam folder for some reason, it's been there for most of the day since i went and checked it.

Thank you and we keep in touch over email, if it works...lol

Today was a slow day for me, very hot outside, not feeling that great, now i'm a bit agitated unfortunately, i wanna get some sleep and be fresh tomorrow.

I checked the net for some parts, to see how i can transcribe that cad into reality, more research needs to be done.

I think that 1 model with a diameter of 1m should be enough to demonstrate not that it spins only but also should have a consistent amount of output power. i'll go for 2 crossbars and also i will plan for expansion and easy installation of future module.

Also talked to an aunt today, she told me that she will chip in as well, hopefully within a month or so we should have it built.

If anyone else wants and can help don't be shy!

Fingers crossed and may God bless us all!

Just a note so i won't forget later,
I worked out how to make it slimmer, A LOT SLIMMER! But it's a trade between width and length.
I can put everything on 2 (both) sides of the same plane but even so, while there are a few designing options, the way i see it now at least requires a more or less dramatic increase in radius. Also not sure how the cranck triggers will feet in the scheme yet since the need some fixed points, at least in the designings i've been working on so far.

Also i need to be careful with the length ratio of the linkages since it also plays in important role in the great scheme, i explained more on that in the prime mover series.

(woke up in the middle of the night, lol, hopefully i'll be able to go back to sleep soon)

K, so...i made a few adjustments but still need to figure out where to place everything else, for now it looks promising since i reduced quite a number of parts and the visual inconsistencies can be fixed easily.

I will try a few more variations on this today hopefully and see how it goes. Also need to take into consideration the physical wheel and components but that will be implemented as i research more on what is available in the market in terms of bars , bearings etc.
