This is complete information about my new wheel concept for all of you, specially for Silent for his last post here.

Sharing with you as always.

I have hit a snag with the build.

I need urgent help:

Does anybody know how to connect two wheels so that they both rotate in the same direction, either clockwise or counter-clockwise, WITHOUT using any gearing teeth or pulley belts?

Remember : One wheel has to rotate twice as fast as the other, as a SPEED DOUBLER mechanism.

I am waiting for your answers.

Thank you.

Raj

A connecting rod would work. (Like they used to use for the old Steam Locomotives).

Sorry, nevermind. Won't work with the different wheel speeds. Overlooked that part.

Somebody MUST BE very angry to see what I have been presenting here on this forum.
The only way to show his unhappiness is quietly demote me and reduce my reputation on this forum by confiscating a green dot, without giving any reason.

He might as well give all red dots.

My contributions of ideas here on this forum speak for themselves.
Thank you MATE, who ever you are.

This is mine from a long time ago. Is it similar?

Thank you DrWhat.

No. It's not similar.

Please don't ask me to explain why.

It is good design.

For all those who are Bessler's clues minded:

One more Bessler's clue to go with those posted above.

Searching for clues everywhere they can be hidden, to match my current wheel concept presented on this thread.

Hi Raj,
what I see is, that the belt is going over the upper 6 Corner/weight Wheel.

Normally we use a pulley and a belt to Transfer the energy from one System to the other.

The construction from Bessler is different, the 6 Corner/weight is not round.

When the 6 Corner/weight is turned you get an oscillation left/right and also up/down in one go.

This will result in different Forces on the rope.
The lower wheel will be lifted an will fall back gravity powered.
Some millimeters variation are enough.
The construction is an automatic JOJO, selfpowered.

Still to complicated for me to build, but a way which should be explored.
Ask yourself where the start energy is located
and which of Besslers Version is it, one or bidirectional.
Best regards

Georg

Hello Georg,

There is more to it,

There is a very old mechanical system being used in all the Bessler's clues I have shown.
I came to notice this old mechanism, only after trying to find prior reference to my current wheel design. I found plenty of information online. Then I checked to see if Besslers' drawings and Mts had anything of this old mechanism. I found those which I have posted above as Bessler's clues.

There will be no need for weights to turn the WHEELSSS!

A kind of ZENO'S paradox.

The driving wheel will NOT be overtaken.

I have never read any thread on this forum, with so much interest, than this thread of four pages started by JimmyJJ, lasted only FOUR days discussion, from 10th to 14th August,2009, well before I joined this forum in December 2009.

How I wish I had seen this thresd before: " Mt_55 and Asa Jackson wheel "

I started this, my current thread a few months back, and I am trying, almost everyday, to work on it, trying to understand well what I am trying to find.

After having some of my design connection with Bessler's drawings I have accepted as clues, I am getting optimistic day by day of my findings.

Today, after having gone through JimmyJJ thread, showing the attached drawing/model , I am OVERJOYED.

The weights are lifted while GOING DOWN from further from to closer to the axle on the descending side of WHEELSSSSS?

Swinging Weights Wheels>>>

Eight weights(5) on levers(6) swinging on pivots(7) at 45 degrees intervals on rim of larger wheel(1) on axle(2), using wheel(3) on axle(4) as rotating ramp, move outwards further from axle(2) from the 12 o'clock position and move and roll downwards on inner rim of rotation wheel(3) as a ramp, nearer to axle(2) from the 6 0'clock position, back to the resetting 12 o'clock position.

Thus resulting in asymmetric circular motion of weights, causing unidirectional torque,

I lay my case!

So let's have your verdict.

It took me the whole day to build a physical model with no weights yet.
