LOL Ralph,
Not very challenging though, it took me 30 seconds to work out how to do it.
Surprising what a proper mouse click can do.
Hans :-)

Hans,
Thanks for the response! Actually there was a method behind my madness! I too figured it out in about the same amount of time. Clicked on it five times in succession.
Its a good lesson in applied "Angular Momentum" on a horizontal plane! Now is this where the "top" in MT 138 comes into play?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Angular_momentum Scroll down until you come to "Conservation of Angular Momentum"...
Sorry for leading this thread off topic, no more response here!

G'day Ralph,
It is interesting that you should mention conservation of angular momentum at this time, because this is exactly what I am working on at the moment.
I will post on this shortly in Stewart's forum

James,
Yes you are already a member of Stewart's Forum... Once logged in and on "Forum Index" simply scroll down and click on Stewart's forum. Click on any posted topic of your choosing.
I cannot believe that already being a member you are not aware of this. I get a message in my private mail box every time an entry is made in any sub forum of Besslerwheel.

re: Bessler morality in question
Hi Ralph.
Thanks for the information. I'll try all of it.
No, I have never been a member of anything "private"
in all my life. I am not much of a friend to the idea, in-
general. Scott became annoyed with me awhile back
when I once expressed un-popular views concerning
the subject, and not desiring to re-visit that pain again,
'will let that be enough said on it.
Ralph, a bit earlier I started a new TOPIC: "The KEY, possibly?"
A numerous twenty five have looked, but so-far none have
provided any answers. Might YOU have one, by chance?
I know you to have a mind in many places, which true beauty
fo soul embraces.
Thanks again,
James

Dr Ramesh Menaria was kind enough to reply by email to my question as to the source of the info on his website concerning Besslers Maid. Thanks Jim.
I already had this site in my "favorites" but had not read it thoroughly .
I wonder where Dr Ramesh Menaria got his information from?
This is the website I am referring to.
http://orffyre.tripod.com/id31.html
Graham
PS. I just sent him an email asking him where this info came from.
Here is his reply:
Thanks for your interest in my website. In writing website on Orffyreus, I have largely relied on secondary sources as I have no access to primary resources. I have drawn upon the writings of Collins, Elden E Park and Above all Deva Ramananda. The particular account of maid servant in which u r interested come from Ramanandas' discussion with me in the past. It is difficult to verify the authenticity of Ramanandas' revelations on Orffyreus and his perpetual motion wheels as he used to talk a lot about them without showing the original sources. May be, many of his revealations are intuitive as u might have guessed from the reading of section on "Dialoues at the Castle of Weissenstein". However, I notice some element of truth in his intuitive speculations so I decided to include the description related to maid and his relationship with Orffyreus, in my website.Since MT drawings show exuberance of scissors Jack, he might have visulazed the particular device while describing maid and Orffyreus. Unfortunately, Deva Ramananda passed away on 30 January, 2008 and I am left with no more in a position to find out the exact source of information u r interested in or to talk with him about the point. For further enquiry it would be better for you to look into works of Collins and Glenn or to contact them, the most reliable sources of information about Orffyreus and his life. One german website also reveals that Orffyreus maid servant wanted to marry Orffyreus and when Orffyreus didnt agree she decided to disgrace her and concoct a conspiracy against her. Right now i dont remember its adddress.
Stay well.
