thanks whoever you are for your concern for my sanity. If any of you good people but knew me then you would know that I am one of those who has throughout their life strived to disproportional lenghths not to stand out, not in particular to look stupid, to place myself in a position of ridicule.it would seem however that i am to reap my reward, my lesson in this respect. Its time for me to stand up and be counted so to speak.
this in mind then again i must inform you that you have the answer you seek right in front of you on Besslerwheel.com and it is only your own insistance on resistance that blinds you.
if my remarks re America smack of insanity so be it, how else could it seem but time will tell and I, MAD Gill Simo stick wholeheartedly to what I have said, no offence implied to the people of America or indeed their overlords, they have a difficult situation `if` i am correct in my assumptions.
anyhow, getting back to our problem let me again try to hack into the mindsets of those that are still interested enough to want to try and understand.
firstly i must clarify my own words re placing the balls into a see-through drum.
into the drum drop 6 balls. 3 sit in the old bowl, 3 sit around it, all 6 lie in the same plane as you view through the side of the drum. drop 1 ball into the centre of the 6, this obviously lies in a higher plane. drop in 6 more balls, 3 will sit equally between the 6 ball plane and the 1 ball plane, 3 will sit between the 1 ball plane and the 6 ball plane that you are now going to drop into the drum complete with the other old bowl. in other words the middle 6 balls cannot sit in their own individual plane, they can only alternate between 3,half into the 1st 6`s plane and 3,half into the other 6 `s plane. thus, looking in from the side and turning the drum these middle 6 sit alternately left and right of the hidden centre ball.this zig-zag of balls is the crux of pm.this is where besslers theory of excess weight kicks in.if you could unbuckle these 6 balls and force them in line then they would form a larges circumference around them. heres a simple way of studying what i mean. cut out a cardboard circle, cut this into 4 equal sections, create 2 more sections from another piece of cardboard and then try to put them back together in a circle.if you hing each section then you will form a circle of exactly the same circ. as the flat original only now you have a crazy 3d affair which, if you turn on its side as per a wheel, wants to flop from one side of the assumed axle to the other, ie; its balanced around the axle and along the axle, again the crux of pm. it is 6, 90 degrees forced into a circle that can only accept/see 4, 90 degrees. the balls in this device are 6 balls sitting where there is assumed 4 balls, 6 balls that squeeze into where only 4 should exist by virtue of the fact that the 6 balls are buckled into place along and around the axle.
as i said previously, by employing the 2 old bowls you end up with a spiralling motion back and forth along the axle/ between the bowls but once you see it then you csn appreciate that there are other ways of achieving it, several designs that is.
if you have difficulties with this twisted axle constantly twisting one way whilst untwisting the other way i dont blame you, its pm we`re talking here lete not forget.
in an attempt to aid you, to get the penny to drop then let me offer this alternative design
place 1 bowl on an axle, free to turn about it. the space, the lenghth along the axle from the underside, now outer side, to the highest point of the overturned petals is 4 inches that being the depth of the bowl. place a second bowl onto the axle again, so that it is free to turn about it and set it such that a gap of 4 inches exists between overturned petals when they are aligned. the distance from the outer side of one bowl and the other is now 12 inches yes?
align the 2 bowls so that the petals of one align with the shoes of the other and visa-versa.the distance between the outer of one bowl and the aligned petal of the ot
SPIRALLING BOTH WAYS AROUND THE AXLE AND ALONG IT or in short
PERPETUAL MOTION for Gods sake
All the very best
GOD HELP US ALL AND NOT JUST ME
