In the "Science News" magazine, March 21st 2003 issue, Jack Wisdom of M.I.T. explains how, in Einstein's description of the space-time fabric of the universe, that it is entirely possible to propel an object thru space by changing its shape; for example, weights on adjustable arms, etc.
