: Just a short question,
: what would this NDA look like. Could you show a sample? I guess there are quite a few out there which would like to discuss their design ideas with someone, but are also afraid that their idea might be taken away.

Don't know if a generic one might suit your needs, and you can always custom tailor it to say whatever you want, but they're all over the internet...

and some govt NDAs...

Bascially an NDA is a contract between you and another entity, and you can just write whatever you want and if both parties agree to it and sign it then it's legally binding... but it should be very complete if you ever think you might need to use it in court. If you miss a detail in the NDA it could be used as a loophole against you later. Also remember that the NDA is not a magic forcefield... the person can always blab, you'd just have legal grounds to take them to court later... but by then the damage is done. It is my belief that you also must also at least know and trust them to a certain extent before dragging out an NDA.
