Hi Derek, thanks for your post. If you want to get your ideas out to the Bessler community, I would be happy to help. If you send me (email or fax) some drawings and explanantions, I would be happy to post them on besslerwheel.com.
I recently did the same thing for Gill Simo, whose ideas you can find in my "News" section on the front page.
By the way, I think it is quite plausible that Bessler used magnets in his wheels. In fact, two powerful magnets (called lodestones) were found in his estate after his death.
Best,
Scott
: Actually, I have been experimenting for the last several years and have developed 3 different methods of using magnets (and one with gravity). I'm about to start building the gravity one which should be relatively easy. I'd be happy to share my idea's with anyone if they are interested. The ideas are fairly simple and don't really appear to have any flaws anyone has been able to point out so far. Since they are based on Permenent magnets, I'm not sure it really qualifies as a Perpetual Motion machine, but it should run for a really long time at a very slow decay. I suppose it could create more energy than it takes to produce the magnets, so with that in mind, it could be over-unity.
: Oystein, I'm very interested in any experiments you might have for me to try. Like many people in here, I have spent 6 years (I know some of you have spent many more) working on my ideas. I have been sharing them in hopes that someone will point out the flaws in the design and I can burn it up and do something more useful like CounterStrike.
: Feel free to mail me.

: : yes, this has been thought of...
: : I got my first PM idea from this when I was a young boy..
: : Placing "compass needles" with small weights attached in a wheel, to make them turn in and out before they should..
: : But the magnetic forces making the weights move will also keep pulling the weights away from gravity when they try to fall.
: : Resault = no net gain :-)
: : It will function in the same manner as ordinary permanent magnets. BUT permanentmagnets is much easier to manipulate.
: : I do believe permanent magnets is an "endless" free energy source.
: : I believe they are sort of rectifiers/diodes making the ether/tachyon energy in the universe visible.
: : It is the shape and behaviour of the magnetic energy that makes it hard to exploit.(conservative force).
: : Hard because it has an undetectable particleflow (undetectable particles), penetrate matter(can be redirected by iron etc..), is spheric, and magnitude do not pulsate (almost like gravity).
: : The behaviour of these fields should tell us how to exploit them !
: : I have an "simple" experiment you can do at home, that could prove magnetic energy ? if someone are interrested? Mail me and I will show you..

: : : Apart from gravity there is another inexaustable free energy source on this planet: the magnetic poles. It can turn the needle in a compass, what else could it power if utilised correctly? Of course it is far weaker than gravity but has anyone thought of designing a wheel which taps into both of these energies?
:
: : : I imagine that the wheel would have to be aligned to the poles. I think the advantage of using this energy in addition to gravity is not so much the small amount of extra force but the fact that this force "flows" from a different direction to gravity.
