: And just what IS the going rate for a perpetual motion machine? And who would want it?
The value of such a product is like Derek stated dependant of many things...
Since we are discussing on the Besslerwheel site, we can discuss the Besslerwheel. I believe maybe that the Besslerwheel would not be a electrical power supply for homes. Because of weight / size in relation to output power.
On the other hand I have thought from measuring on my model, that size maybe could be reduced dramatically, with todays technology !
It seems that the power output is most dependant of weight not size. If the size / force / torque is reduce by 50% the speed is increased by approx. 100%.
Since the energy (watt) output is dependant of both speed and force, the net output into electricity would stay more or less constant...? or at least not directly propotional to size
(No calculations made)
This leaves us with a "small" and heavy construction.
But combined with other Free energy devices like the MEG..or the Faraday disk (in a special setup) etc.....maybe it could be used for Home electricity production ????
I believe that other products, as models for entertainment would possebly be the first moneymaking erea !
Every physics classrom in the world, would have to have such a machine, including a book with all the math and physics to explain it !
You would become a "milionare"...if you do the right things...
Take 10 models, place it in physics classroms around the world...
With no explenations, other than WEB adress and phone number and let it light a LED.
Give them 3 months... and try to get it back :-)
Then give a lecture, a "package" price for book and model, sell it in cheap, and you are on the roll....
