Well, Darren, I have heard those theories before, but It doesn't seem very realistic. You say building a Bessler wheel is not easy. Maybe it DOES require SOME skill with carpentry and such, but the fact is that Bessler himself worked with VERY primitive tools and technology. Thus, it can't be all that difficult. If Bessler was able to build such a wheel hundreds of years ago, then building one today should be very easy.
Your second theory that everyone who is qualified to build a Bessler wheel is also 100% convinced that it is impossible is simply not true as I understand it. There are MANY very good and highly trained scientists all over the world who have sincerely considered the possibilities of various perpetual motion and "over-unity" devices. In addition to that, there are THOUSANDS of highly competant backyard inventors who experiment with these sorts of things. Many claim to have discovered various secrets of one sort or another, and some have even supposedly been verified by competant scientists, yet for SOME reason, these "secrets" never see the light of day.
Now, I want you to consider the possibility that some of these claims are true. I shouldn't have to twist your arm to do that, considering the nature of this forum. If some of these ARE true, then we can only conclude that the two reasons you give cannot explain why they are still "secret" even though large numbers of people already know about them.
: People will tell you it's because of MIB and gov't spies and all kinds of other weird stuff. But it's really only because of these two reasons...
: First, because it's not easy. It requires a serious understanding of physics, math, forces, mechanics, computational skils, etc. The majority of the people in the world don't have the required knowledge to make something like this happen.
: Second, and probably more importantly, the people in the world who *do* posess the required knowledge, the traditional scientists, engineers, professors, instructors, etc. do a very god job of teaching and promoting the idea that some (most) scientific laws are written in stone and are unbreakable, so don't even waste your time. Consequently the people who are most qualified to find the solution are totally convinced it can't be found.
