: : If you don't believe in patents then why have you yourself applied for one (or many)?

: Excellent question! I thought like SK that patents were the way to go. It wasn't until I applied for one and got initial approval for a "rotating mechanism" that I realised that this was just the start of a big expense for reasons stated earlier. I also realised that if I posted anything about it before I had the first piece of registration then I couldn't patent it. If I couldn't patent it then neither could anyone else.

: Also here in the UK, the patent office has a permanent staff working for the government security who check each every patent for any potential national security risks and if they find something then they bury it and demand silence about it. Clearly every country runs something similar. You may ask what risk could a gravity wheel hold? I don't know for sure but it seems to me that if something might have a detrimental effect on the tax revenue from fuel then that might be regarded as a potential security risk and require some kind of restriction?

: As for my patent application - I cancelled it.

Hi John

Glad to hear you figured them out. It's just a money game in the end, and one still ultimately has to take "Joe Infringer" to court and prove one's case.

Can't count how many times I've seen the "patented-this and patented-that" on those infomercials, only to find the same thing a month later at WallyWorld
for half the price. Whomever figures this thing out will have the world beat a path to their door just to pick their brains on anything else they can figure
out. What a business card!

Best regards
