I'm glad to be part of this forum as I've learnt a lot since reading all the info available, hence my attempt at the little Costa wheel, as far as that goes, "friction is my worst enemy", the levers that actuate the mechanisms will have to be lengthened and bearings fitted to the ends to try and eliminate as much friction as possible. I've sent Grim some photos of the bearings I'm using and will also send a picture of the mechanisms early next week. Further updates will follow.

: Thanks for your patience and support. It turns out that a phone line somewhere between my house and the central office was physically damaged, which was causing my DSL connection to be flaky. The phone company finally repaired the line today, so my website should be up and running reliably now.
